Some of our work and what we are working on.
The Boss loves those 70s models.
Aside from custom build to order we train future Luthiers. Typically, their first build has some slight imperfections. These are still beautiful guitars wired for sound and play just like our custom line. These imperfections are on sale now, deeply discounted.
We use walnut, ambrosia maple, ash, basswood, mahogany, hard maple, flame, quilted maple, and knotty pine here.
We also use some beautiful exotic woods like sweet canary wood or zebra wood drop-tops and headstocks.
For every piece of wood we buy, a tree is planted
We have been filling orders for
1972 Telecaster II semi-hollow body Thinline
1977 Telecaster II Custom Deluxe
Pictures will be posted soon
At Canale Customs, we pride ourselves on delivering a personalized custom build to our customers
Fender-style necks like the ST and TL (strat and tell)
Gibson style necks
and our own design takes the standard 3+3 neck to a whole new level with customization that will bring your guitar, Bass, or ukulele alive
At Canale Customs, we use only the best pickups on the market. It is incredible how much a pickup can make a difference. It is also important to pair the correct potentiometers.
We can install a pickup that looks cool on the guitar and sounds fantastic.
Regardless of your knowledge of pickups, we are here to help you in your selection process based on how and what you play. We can go from the brightest sound to the dirtiest sound around. All of our wiring is guaranteed for the life of the guitar, and there is NO buzz or hum ever.
We use single coil, Humbucker, P90 the super cool lipstick. Alnico or Ceramic, coil split or coil tap, passive or active, we have you covered. If you're looking for a cream di la creme, consider the DiMarzio line. You can never go wrong with a Seymour Duncan or EMG. We also wind our own and like to use the old-school lipstick pickups from the 60s.
At Canale Customs, we pride ourselves on cool and unusual requests from our customers. This started a while back when a customer wanted to go from two to one volume control and instead add a bleed pot. This was very cool, and we implemented a kill button.
Regardless of your knowledge of pickups, pots, and wiring, you only need to tell us how you play and what you want it to do. The boss is a big Dead Head and loves Mr. Doug Irwin. We have made onboard sound blasters with separate outputs, so you have one with effects and one without, or one active and one passive. We love a challenge.
Kill switches, blending pots, added tone pots, add capacitors, onboard effects, active pickup controls...we got you
As with electric guitar pickups, there are many options. We happened to like this unit because of its consistency and quality. The battery is right behind the tuner, which makes it easy to access. I suggest to my customers to remove the battery when they're not using it. Otherwise, those batteries drain rather quickly.
These involve cutting into the side of the guitar. If you have a 1937 Martian, I would go with another option. We would install a "place in" system.
We love our customers and love to chat and hear your dream guitar vision.
